The WAPC intends to amend the MRS for land in the local government of Armadale and is seeking public comment.

The amendment proposes to rezone 107 ha of land in Forrestdale, from the rural zone to the urban zone and public purposes – high school reservation, in the MRS.

The WAPC certifies that, in its opinion, the proposed amendment does not constitute a substantial alteration to the MRS.

The plans showing the proposed change and the WAPC amendment report which explains the proposal, will be available for public inspection from Tuesday 8 April 2008 to Friday 13 June 2008 at each of the following places:

• Western Australian Planning Commission, 469 Wellington Street, Perth
• J S Battye Library, Level 3 Alexander Library Building, Perth Cultural Centre
• Municipal office of the Cities of Armadale and Gosnells

Any person who desires to make a submission to support, object or provide comment on any part of the proposed amendment should do so on a submission form. This submission form is available from the display locations, the amendment report and download.

on or before 5.00pm Friday, 13 June 2008.

Late submissions will not be considered.
