This bulletin sets out the interim policy of the Western Australian Planning Commission (WAPC) to implement the recommendations of the Tourism Planning Taskforce (the taskforce).

The interim policy will guide decisionmaking by the WAPC and local government on subdivision, development and scheme amendment proposals for tourism purposes in the short term while detailed planning mechanisms are being established, including the preparation of a state planning policy.
