The Lower Great Southern Strategy provides guidance for the future planning of the region and addresses broad planning considerations across the City of Albany and shires of Denmark, Plantagenet and Cranbrook.

The strategy addresses land use, transport and infrastructure planning on a local and regional level. It provides specific direction to local governments when preparing more detailed local planning strategies and local planning schemes.
