It now has been modified at the request of the Minister for Planning and Infrastructure to require the submission and approval of a transport strategy prior to planting, outlining the transport proposals at the time of plantation harvesting. Other sections also have been updated as appropriate.

Given the passage of time since the release of the original farm forestry planning bulletin and the change that has now been effected to the policy, it is considered appropriate to release the revised document for a readvertising period of 42 days. Submissions on the revised document will be received until the close of business on Friday 4 April 2003.
