This report on population futures for local government areas in Western Australia is such a resource; invaluable information that no government agency delivering a service to the people, or commercial enterprise providing products to the market, should do without.
This publication is part of a series of related population reports for WA, from the Ministry’s ongoing applied urban research program. The forecasts are based on anticipated changes to the components of population growth: natural increase, interstate and intra-state migration, and immigration. Local economic intelligence and multiplier effects from known development projects assist the Ministry in adjusting its underlying assumptions.
